Police found evidence of drug use after a group of youths ran away from them.
Yesterday evening, officers were patrolling the Marsh Playing Field in Weymouth and found a group of youths congregating.
A Weymouth and Portland Police spokesperson said: "When officers approached the group, they decided to run off before we had the chance to speak to them.
"On further inspection, we located some drug paraphernalia which they had left behind. This has now been seized and will be destroyed. Officers will continue to complete proactive patrols in anti-social behaviour hotspots."
