IS creative writing is your thing? Residents are being invited to join the Dorset Libraries Writing Circle - a supportive community of people who love to write.

The writing circle is just one of several online activities hosted by Dorset Libraries and is aimed at bringing people together to pursue the art and craft of writing as a hobby or for well-being.

Each week the group posts writing tips and inspiration and links to other writing resources. Discussions on any writing-related topic are welcome.

Members are encouraged to help each other improve their writing skills by offering advice, giving information and providing positive feedback.

It provides an opportunity to meet new people, make friends and find a safe place to discuss any issues and air your fears about writing.
