TIME is running out to show off your pet to the rest of Dorset.
Every pet owner believes their best friend is the best in town, and Age UK North, South and West Dorset (NSWD) is inviting residents to show the rest of the county what’s great about their pet, in their new 'Pet Idol' competition.
The charity, which supports older people in the area, is asking Dorset residents to send in pictures of their furry, scaly or feathered friends for consideration in their ‘Pet Idol’ competition.
The cut-off date for entries is October 23.
Age UK NSWD has put together a judging panel to determine which pets embody the spirit of the competition.
Potential participants can enter by donating £3 per entry to www.justgiving.com/ campaign/PetIdol2020 then email hparkin@ageuknswd.org.uk with your pet's photo, your full name and contact number.
