AN uninsured driver has had his car seized after he admitted he had been driving 'carefully' for six months without insurance.
Dorset Police stopped the driver on the A350 near Blandford yesterday.
When he was asked why he didn't have insurance, the driver said he could not afford it. He added: "It's okay though because when I have been driving it over the last six months without insurance I have been driving really slowly and carefully so I don't have an accident."
The driver was given a fixed penalty notice.
