A biker who displayed his number plate on his rucksack has been fined.
Dorset Police No Excuse Team were on the A35 this morning (Friday) and saw the rider.
A spokesman said: "Whilst behind this motorbike we couldn't see a number plate so we stopped it to check. The rider states sorry but he didn't have anywhere on his bike to display it so he thought it was a good idea to put it on the back of his rucksack.
"We've not seen that before. As well as being incorrectly displayed the plate was illegal also. Fixed penalty notice issued. No excuse."
