Dorset to bask in mini heatwave with temperatures to peak at 25 degrees

The county experienced a warm weekend as tourists and residents travelled to beaches and beauty spots to enjoy the last days of summer. 

Met Office predicts this warm period is set to continue into this week, with temperatures expected to hit 25 degrees.

Bright clear skies are predicted around the county for most of the week with a mixture of sunny and cloudy weather. 

Tuesday is forecast to be the warmest day of the week, with temperatures set to peak at 25 degrees. People can expect cloudy but sunny weather throughout the day with minimum temperature of 15 degrees.

Towards the end of the week, winds are expected to pick up and with cool breezes to help cool down people. 

The weekend is predicted to be warm and sunny with temperatures to peak at 22 degrees as tourists and residents aim to make the most of the last warm weather this year.

Met Office forecasts a week of warm weather with temperatures over 20 degrees on each day. 

Met Office predicts “it could be very warm in the South” with “mainly dry, settled weather” with some “sunny spells” next week.

Thursday
Cloudy but sunny weather throughout the day with highs of 21 degrees. Minimum temperature of 14 degrees.

Friday
Sunny and hot weather throughout the day with highs of 23 degrees. Minimum temperature of 14 degrees.

Saturday
Warm and sunny weather throughout the day with highs of 22 degrees. Minimum temperature of 14 degrees.

Sunday
Sunny and hot weather throughout the day with highs of 21 degrees. Minimum temperature of 13 degrees.
