A POLICE car has been taken off the road following an incident involving a suspected underage driver.
The driver was located by police following reports of a suspected underage driver around Littlemoor.
Upon being approached by police, the driver quickly got out of the car and in the process forget to put their handbrake on, causing the vehicle to roll back into the police car.
Nobody was injured in the incident but there is damage to both vehicles and the vehicle of the suspected underage driver has been seized by the police.
A spokesperson for Weymouth and Portland Police said: “Enquiries continue in relation to the driver.
“As a result of this and the actions of this person, that’s one less car of ours on the road to respond to incidents.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact Dorset Police on 101.
