Three people have been arrested after two children were found locked in a car with an unconscious woman.
Police received a call with concerns for the welfare of the 11-year-old children who were trapped in the car at Monmouth Beach in Lyme Regis yesterday (Monday) afternoon.
A spokesman for Dorset Police said: "At 2.48pm on Monday, August 10, Dorset Police received a concern for welfare as two 11-year-old children had been found in a locked car together with an unresponsive female passenger at Monmouth Beach in Lyme Regis.
"The children were unable to open the car. Officers gained access to the vehicle and the children were safe and well.
"Subsequently two women and a man were arrested on suspicion of drugs offences and child neglect and are helping officers with their enquiries."
