Bridport Arts Centre is holding its first event since it was closed for the pandemic.

The Things We Didn’t Do on Thursday, August 13 from 10am to 4pm is a playful look at lockdown.

The collaboration between arts organisation SEAFAIR and Bridport Arts Centre will see people coming and contributing, being intrigued and haing socially distanced conversations in the Allsop Gallery.

SEAFAIR artists have been involved in a range of events in the area since 2018, including the Pop-up Fringe alongside Bridport Open Studios in 2019. Recently SEAFAIR was selected by the community to create a Laboratory of Fun for Port East's BluePrint Festival just as the pandemic arrived.

Founder Sally Lemsford said: "While the arts have played a key part in surviving these difficult times, there is a lot that disappeared overnight. We want to share our incredible ideas and demonstrate what we could do."

People will just need to bring a face mask. Visitors to be aware the Arts Centre toilets will remain closed.

As the gallery is upstairs, the stair lift will be operated where appropriate. Ring ahead if possible and advise on 01308 427183.
