Residents’ views on the management of two nature reserves in the town are being sought.
Bridport Town Council will soon take over the ownership of Jellyfields - off Lower Walditch Lane - and Bothenhampton nature reserves from Dorset Council and is working with Bothenhampton and Walditch Parish Council to produce new management plans.
An initial public consultation in May showed the depth of community interest in the two sites. The draft plans are now set out and prioritise practical action to enhance the areas for wildlife, as well as promoting quiet enjoyment of the nature reserve.
Take a look at the consultation draft management plans and provide feedback by September 10 by visiting bridport-tc.gov.uk
