Coastguards were called to an unattended boat off the coast in west Dorset to make sure the owners were self and well.
West Bay Coastguard were alerted yesterday evening (Wednesday), just before 8.45pm, to reports of the boat moored just off the coast at Eype.
A spokesman for West Bay Coastguard said: "The team were tasked with trying to locate the owners to make sure that all was safe and well.
"As officers were responding to the station in West Bay, further information was received by Solent Coastguard and the team was stood down.
"Stay safe on the coast this summer, but if you find yourself in difficulty, or if you see something that gives you cause for concern then do not hesitate. Dial 999 and ask for the coastguard."
