A family run business with more than 20 years’ experience in jewellery is this week’s Trader of the Week.

S&A Treasure Jewellery at 14 Antelope Walk, Dorchester, is the proud holder of the title for its versatile jewellery repair service and its range of traditional and unique jewellery.

Run by Andrew and Sandra Przybysz, S&A Treasure Jewellery, has an on-site goldsmith for all sorts of jewellery repairs, including some which can be done on the same day at no extra charge.

They will also sell a range of new Swiss continental watches.

Dorset Echo:

The pair said: “We think that we stand out from our competition because we have an on-site Goldsmith which can complete repairs on the same day or within a few days depending on the repair difficulty, we can take in custom orders which can be done from pictures or descriptions and have them done within a few days depending on the details, we are going to have Swiss continental watches, for men and women, which have a unique design, and we specialise in a range of different jewellery from silver to gold and sometimes some more unique metals like titanium.”

The business is best known for jewellery repairs, custom designs, and a positive and happy atmosphere at the shop, they said.

“Most of our customers’ happiness comes from quick and well-done jewellery repairs and custom jewellery orders as well as our happy atmosphere at the shop.”

Dorset Echo:

Staff at the shop try to find out what each of their customers is precisely looking for and try to look at the best and most suitable offer for the customer.

The Dorset Echo is backing local businesses as they get going again after the coronavirus crisis.

It is a ‘great opportunity’ to have started the business in Antelope Walk, Andrew and Sandra say.

“It’s the best street we could have started our business in, we think that it is one of the most beautiful streets in Dorchester.

“It also is a great opportunity for us to have started our business here because so many people pass Antelope Walk every day which gives us a good opportunity to show people what we can do and what we offer, as well as this there are so many friendly shops around us in Antelope Walk which make this street so amazing.

“We think it’s really important that people support their high street because the more support the high street gets, the more shops will start opening, which will get more people to go out into the high street and this is important because this way there will be more tourists in town and the town will evolve even more.”
