HERE’S the latest bunch of new arrivals we’re celebrating in Dorset.

Here we celebrate extra special arrivals, many of whom came into the world at Dorset County Hospital (DCH) in Dorchester - and further afield.

Eunice Wynter-Rose Kavanagh, born March 12 at DCH weighing 7lb 9oz to Kay Conway-Smith and Daniel Kavanagh of Weymouth. Sister to Silus.

Alfie Barnes, born April 11 at DCH weighing 7lb 7.5oz to Charlotte Barnes of Blandford Forum. Alfie is 8 weeks old here.

Charlotte tells us: "Alfie was 12 days late and born via Emergency C-Section at Dorchester Maternity Unit. After 3 long days under their care and no visitors we were able to come home."

Jaxon Anthony Budd, born May 15 at DCH weighing 8lb 11oz to Chelsea Price and Zach Budd of Weymouth. Brother to Summer-Rose.

Zach tells us: "My partner was induced on the 14th May at 8pm and after a traumatic birth/labour our handsome boy was born at 5:51am on 15/05/2020."

Maeve Bluebell Langford, born May 7at DCH weighing 6lb 6oz to Alex and Holly Langford of Crossways, sister to Joshua.

Nia Ivy, born April 7 at DCH weighing 7lb 4oz to Kayleigh Fudge of Weymouth. Little sister to Ace.

Kayleigh tells us: "Dorchester maternity unit were fantastic, worried about going in to be induced but everyone was brilliant."

Willow Iris Coombes, born May 15 at DCH weighing 7lb 7oz to Sarah Newnham and Luke Coombes of Weymouth. Pictured here at three weeks old.

Sarah tells us: "Willow was 10 days overdue. When she was ready to come she did not hang around. She was delivered in just over 3 hours of getting to the hospital. 
The midwifes, doctors and ward staff were fantastic and offered lots of reassurance and support during these uncertain times."

Dean Charlie Igglesden, born March 30 at DCH weighing 8lb 5oz to Gemma Cuff and Dean Igglesden of Weymouth. Brother to Jordan, Nicola and Megan.

Gemma tells us: "Baby Dean was due on the 18th March however he arrived 12 days later via and emergency caesarean. Even in these strange and different times the quality of care received was amazing. We cannot thank the staff enough for helping bring our baby boy into the world."

Isla-Marie Cottingham, born March 28 at DCH weighing 7lb to Lisa Marie Cottingham of Weymouth. Isla-Marie is pictured here a month after she was brought home.

Lisa tells us: "Isla-Marie was born on the 28th march 2020 at exactly 4 weeks early. 
"She was induced and I was in natural labour for 14 hours. I was rushed to theatre alone and welcomed Isla to the world through a caesarean. 
"She spent her first night in SCBU and I cannot thank the hospital staff enough with how calm and supportive they were . 
"Her name is my first name mixed up and middle and last name the same. She is mummy’s little girl."
