A student from a west Dorset school was presented with a signed photograph of a footballer, after doing some amazing work during lockdown.
Ella Thomas, who is in Year 8 at Beaminster School, was surprised and delighted to be presented with a signed photograph of Manchester United and England striker Marcus Rashford this week by headteacher Mr Hales.
Staff were asked which student had produced high quality work across the board and who had responded most positively during lockdown. Ella came out as the clear winner and the signed photo was her prize.
As well as persuading the government to offer free school meals to children during the summer holidays, Marcus Rashford has also raised £20 million for children's charities, has given televised PE lessons to children, and learned sign language.
