Police arrested a man in Weymouth after stepping up patrols around the town as tourists and residents alike enjoyed the good weather.
With the sun shining on Weymouth this weekend lots of people have been enjoying themselves on the beach and in the newly-reopened businesses.
Officers from Weymouth and Portland Police have been out on foot patrol in and around the town centre, ready to deal with any anti social behaviour or offences.
A spokesman said yesterday: "We're currently liaising with colleagues from the Council Licensing Team and the Community Safety Patrol Officers. A few alcohol related issues have been dealt with and a local male arrested and currently in custody."
Police also handed out six Section 35 dispersal notices to various individuals of all ages around the town.
They were all asked to leave the town and beach area for a period of 12 hours. Police said that, should they be located, they can be arrested.
