Fire crews were called to reports of a large agricultural vehicle on fire near Beaminster.

Firefighters from Beaminster and Bridport were called just after 2.30pm today to the A3066 at Crook Hill.

Crews arrived with a water carrier also in attendance and found that the cause was a faulty bearing on the wheel, which was overheating and smoking.

Crews cooled it with one hose reel jet and made the scene safe.
