THERE are now six giant cruise liners anchored in Weymouth Bay.
Residents and visitors alike have been captivated by the incredible sight of some of the world’s biggest cruise ships resting off-shore.
After the coronavirus pandemic brought cruises to a halt, companies have had to look for cheap anchorage spots to leave their fleets.
Weymouth Bay have been a popular choice by many cruise companies, with lots of ships coming and going throughout the lockdown period.
Currently there are six cruise ships in the bay. There are three P&O ships: the Azura, Brittania and Ventura.
Also resting in the Bay are the Cunard liner Queen Mary 2, the Marella Discovery and the Carnival Valor.
