The coastguard were forced to step in to protect people from putting themselves in danger for a selfie over the weekend.
West Bay Coastguard Rescue Team had to intervene on numerous occasions where members of the public were taking ‘selfies’ on the edges of cliffs.
The team conducted patrols throughout the weekend, particularly focussing on well-known hotspots for incidents.
They also spoke to people who were sat under cliff faces and to parents of children playing in the water without correct supervision.
