Extensions are being requested at two properties in Beaminster.
Changes to existing outbuildings are being asked for at 58 East Street to create ancillary accommodation to the main home.
The application for planning permission to Dorset Council includes extending a stone barn by 10 square metres with a single storey addition on the northern side to provide a hobbies room/office. The proposed extension will be mainly clad in vertical timber boarding with a natural finish and a flat, grey GRP finish roof.
Elsewhere in the town a two storey extension is being proposed at 27 Woodswater Lane with the addition mainly from reconstituted stone with face brickwork and roofing tiles to match.
Both application are open for public comment via the Dorset Council website. Both are expected to be decided by a planning officer.
