A35 near Chideock closed due to crash
A motorcyclist was taken to hospital following a collision with a car on the A35 near Chideock.
The road from Arundell (Chideock) to the B3162 West Road (Symondsbury) was closed following the incident last night, with delays affecting traffic between Bridport and Chideock.
A police spokesman said: "Dorset Police was called at 5.19pm on Monday June 29 to a report of a two vehicle collision on the A35 near to Chideock involving a car and a motorcycle.
"Officers attended and the road was closed to allow emergency services to deal with the incident.
"The motorcyclist sustained minor injuries and attended hospital for treatment.
"Recovery was requested for both the vehicles and the road reopened at around 7.30pm."
