Firefighters rushed to the scene of a fire in a garage of a Bridport home.
Two crews from Bridport were called to a local garage fire containing a vehicle at about 6.40pm yesterday evening.
Crews used breathing apparatus, hose reel jets and thermal imaging cameras to extinguish the fire.
A spokesman for Bridport Fire Station said: "Garages and loft spaces are often overlooked when fitting smoke alarms.
"As well as the minimum recommendation of a smoke alarm on every level of your property, it is also recommended to have smoke alarms in garages, loft spaces (especially thatched properties) and utility rooms that contain washing machines and tumble driers."
