The new look Rock Point in Lyme Regis could soon be reopening after it was taken over by St Austell Brewery in 2018.

Steve Worrall, managing director of St Austell Brewery’s pubs, inns and hotels, said: “We were pleased when the Government announced that parts of the hospitality sector could be able to reopen from July 4.

“While the decision on when we reopen our pubs will depend on the Government’s regular risk assessments - and there’s every chance that this date could be moved back - we’re still currently planning towards reopening on July 4. We’re working hard on drawing up a detailed plan for this, based on the Government guidelines for hospitality, which will be published in the coming days.

“As always, the safety of our pub teams and customers continues to be our number one priority. We’re looking to welcoming Lyme Regis residents back to the new look Rock Point when the time is right.”
