A WOMAN has been injured after falling onto rocks at the beach.
West Bay coastguards were called to assist a 59-year-old woman after she fell near some steps on Eype Beach on Sunday.
She required emergency first aid and, after an initial assessment, the coastguard found she was mostly bruised with no obvious or significant injuries.
She was helped to her feet by officers and taken to her nearby family with advice to seek medical help if needed.
