Friends of Bridport Millennium Green has had to postpone its AGM.

The fundraising support group to the trust helps by providing money for improvements to the gardens surrounding Mountfield, the woodland and land on Coneygar Hill.

Suggested plans, which will be open for public consultation, include restocking raised beds, tree planting and restoring the ice houses. A plan to eradicate Japanese knotweed will also cost £750 over the next three years.

The group has already held three fundraising events before lockdown - Twelfth Night with Tinkers Cuss, Leap Year with Bridport Broadsides and a talk on old Loders with Bernard Paull.

Memberships are now due and cost £5 annually and, for this year only, life memberships for £50, normally £100. These include money off at events and discounts at local shops and cafes.
