A barn at Spring House, Homecombe Farm, Clanden Hill could be converted to a home.
A planning application for the change has been lodged with Dorset Council for the conversion of a brick barn to a two double-bedroom home.
The site in Broadwindsor is 400 metres to the east of the village. Few external changes are proposed to the building, which was once used for milking, although there will be new steps to the south and east sides of the building with a new entrance on the northern end of the west side.
