John Arnold is fifth on the left at the VE Day street party in Shirecroft Road, Weymouth
It's a pleasure that this photo of a very happy VE Day street party in Shirecroft Road, Weymouth, has made so many people happy.
We heard from Lynda Jiggins, who recognised her father John Arnold in the photo.
She writes: "I was really excited seeing your photo of the street party.
"My father John Arnold is also pictured in it, he is fifth on the left. He is sat opposite Mr. Thorne's family. He would have been 15.
"He lived at 39 Shirecroft Road. I have never seen this photo before so what a shock I got to see my dad. Thank you."
