Plans for the demolition of a conservatory and stable at Whatley Farm, Cherry Cottage Lane in Beaminster have been approved by Dorset Council.
The application allows for the conservatory to be replaced by a two-storey extension and a new stable to be built a different location.
Planners officers have been told that the extension will be built of natural stone with a slate roof to match the house with the ground floor being used as a garage and the upper floor as a mezzanine storage space.
The replacement stable will be built in the south west corner of the site and will be slightly bigger than the existing stable with a footprint of 40 square metres. It will be timber framed with timber cladding and a black steel sheet roof.
