There have been no reported coronavirus-related deaths at Dorset hospitals for a seventh day running.

Around the country, a further 174 people, who tested positive for Covid-19 have died, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 24,913.

Patients were aged between seven and 102 years old. Six of the 174 patients (aged between 45 and 90) had no known underlying health condition.

However the Dorset figures have not changed since last week, with the total number of deaths remaining at 142.

A total of 61 patients have died under the care of the Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals NHS Trust; 45 at Poole Hospital; 23 at Dorset County Hospital in Dorchester; 13 at hospitals run by Dorset Healthcare University NHS Foundation Trust.
