There have been no reported coronavirus-related deaths at Dorset hospitals in the past 24 hours.
Figures from Public Health England show the number of patients to have died after testing positive for Covid-19 in the county remains at 142 for a second day running.
In total, 23 patients have died at Dorset County Hospital in Dorchester; 13 at hospitals run by Dorset Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust; 45 at Poole Hospital and 61 under the care of the Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
It comes as a further 207 people, who tested positive for Covid-19, have died at hospitals in England, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 24,159.
Patients were aged between 33 and 100 years old. 6 of the 244 patients (aged between 35 and 95 years old) had no known underlying health condition.
Their families have been informed.
