Plans to convert barns into home and holiday cottage in Bridport withdrawn
PLANS to convert barns at New House Farm, Bridport have been withdrawn.
Planning permission was being sought from Dorset Council for the change at the Mangerton Lane farm, north of Bradpole village on the road to West Milton. It involves the conversion of a large stone barn and an attached storage barn into a four-bed home and a small barn into a one-bed holiday cottage.
The application also sought to demolish two more recent agricultural barns close to the barns which were planned for conversion.
Comments on the application were open until May 23rd but this week the planning application was withdrawn. The reason for the removal of the application has not been made public.
