Dorset Council
DEATHS in Dorset are now being registered using a telephone service because of the pandemic emergency.
Dorset Council says it has set up the system for safety reasons to prevent people having to come into public offices with documents, for the first time, now being forwarded electronically.
Its effectiveness will be evaluated later to see if the service can continue to operate remotely once lockdown measures are eased.
