A BARN at Whitcombe Road, Beaminster could be converted into a home.
The change of use application for the stone building, used for storage and a workshop, has been lodged with Dorset Council.
The barn is within the grounds of Hitts Orchard and amounts to 200 square metres over two floors.
The application says the building could be converted into a 2- bedroom home with parking provided for two cars. It would have the bedrooms on the first floor with a lounge, dining room and kitchen on the ground floor. Access is off a private drive which serves Nos 8, 10 and 12 Whitcombe Road.
The barn is not listed but comes under the Beaminster conservation area.
Comments on the application remain open until May 26.
