As with other people across the country, many of the residents of Windy Ridge in Beaminster are showing their appreciation of the work done by some of the key workers.
As well as supporting local traders, who have and continue to arrange deliveries, some of the residents have shown their gratitude by writing ‘thank you’ messages on the roads outside their homes for the dustmen and postmen.
They also come outside their homes, respecting social distancing, to meet and greet each other twice a week, on a Tuesday morning at 11am for an ‘open air coffee morning’ and again on a Thursday evening at 8pm to clap for carers.
Both events have proved very popular and gives everyone the opportunity for some fresh air and a chat.
