Signs showing residents’ support for all the key workers during the coronavirus pandemic have been popping up over west Dorset and east Devon.

Printing company Creative Solutions is responsible, printing and delivering the signs free of charge.

Signs have already been put up in Axminster, Charmouth and Bridport.

Ben Whittington of Creative Solutions said: “While we are all living in troubling and uncertain times at the moment, here at Creative Solutions we thought now would be the perfect opportunity to put our printers to good use and help the local communities show their gratitude to those selfless NHS staff and key workers who are battling on the frontline of a global health crisis.

“After the success of the signage we donated to the people of Axminster - a printed sign which thanked the NHS and all the dedicated key workers - we wanted to do likewise for the residents of the neighbouring village of Charmouth in Dorset.

“Absolutely free of charge, we provided a printed board with messages of local support displayed bold and clear, visible to anyone travelling in and out of the village. After supplying the sign, it was installed by one of the Charmouth residents, a member of the local fire crew.

“The community of Charmouth can now proudly declare their support for the NHS and key workers, we were just privileged to be able to contribute towards their efforts.”
