Kate Winslet, Fatboy Slim and Dick and Dom will be entertaining families this Easter weekend as part of Camp Bestival's 'Stay At Home Easter Sleepover.'

Camp Bestival, Dorset's biggest live music festival, will be bringing a taste of its much-loved weekend extravaganza straight to living rooms across the nation this Easter.

As families prepare to celebrate Easter weekend from the comfort of their own homes, Camp Bestival will be connecting families across Dorset with world-class DJs, live music, comedy, and workshops to keep people entertained.

The virtual festival will be available to watch on Camp Bestival’s Instagram and Facebook pages this Saturday and Sunday, 9am-9pm. The event will also be raising money for Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust and The Trussell Trust via online donation links throughout the streams.

The Stay At Home Easter Sleepover includes Nelly Cook’s first ever DJ set on Saturday (with a little help from dad Fatboy Slim), a chillout set from Camp Bestival’s very own Rob da Bank, and radio legend Sara Cox will be bringing the 80s tunes with a garden party set on Easter Sunday, followed by live music by Level 42.

Youngsters can also get involved thanks to the involvement of the likes of the legendary Dick and Dom and there will be a virtual rave with the UK’s favourite family ravers Big Fish Little Fish.

The party doesn’t stop there – kids can also go back to nature with a Mud Pie Workshop, get creative with an Aardman Model Making Workshop, try their hand at Circus Skills from BigTopMania, train up with the Superhero Rescue Team and put their science goggles on with ‘Silly Science Goes Experimental’.

For your daily exercise, take part in a workout with Mr Motivator or Joy In Dance’s Rise & Shine Workout. Then take a breather and unwind with yoga and meditation sessions.

Make sure to also tune into a storytime special with none other than award-winning Hollywood actress, Kate Winslet.

You can’t celebrate Easter without some delicious food, so turn up the heat with DJ BBQ as he hosts a live lockdown cook-a-long. Make sure to not miss the live Q&A with famous French maître d’ Fred Sirieix from First Dates as he chats to Rob da Bank about road trips, lockdown with kids and how to get your little ones to eat anything.

Adults will be treated to comedy gold with side-splitting fun from The Scummy Mummies and Miguelito Cubano, star from iconic duo The Cuban Brothers.

To cap it all off, because no festival experience is complete without Camp Bestival’s out-of-this-world fireworks finale, viewers can tune in for a virtual display like no other at 8.45pm on both Saturday and Sunday night.

Camp Bestival curators Josie and Rob da Bank said: “We can’t all get outside right now, so we’re bringing you some of our favourite Camp Bestival acts for a Stay At Home Easter Sleepover. We both know what it’s like to be cooped up with our darling children for weeks with no break, so we hope we can take your mind off the news and dive into a world of fun, music and family vibes. Forget about home schooling for the weekend and join us for a one-off Easter extravaganza.”
