Last month you wrote about mindless individuals causing damage to trees in Dibden View, Bridport.
It’s highly likely it’s the same people responsible for the corner Cherry Tree. I think it’s likely Magna planted three, and within the week one was snapped off just above the tree stake.
Again just a few idiots with no better things to do than damage anything, regardless of most preaching about climate change, carbon storage etc, but there are many doing good things.
I’m thinking of the Colfox students who spent a very wet day a few weeks ago, muddy, wet but happy helping to remake the forest school area, within Coopers Wood on Allington Hill, assisted by many folk including Toby Hoad, a forest logger using his horses to move a large fallen beech tree from the south side of the hill.
