Here's a picture to put a smile on your face during lockdown.
The bright light of the International Space Station passes over Lyme Regis.
It was taken by photographer Simon Emmett on Tuesday night, when the sky was clear.
It's been visible for the past couple of days and you should still be able to see it over the next couple of nights - it can be safely viewed from gardens and balconies.
The space station looks like an airplane or a very bright star moving across the sky, except it doesn’t have flashing lights or change direction. It will also be moving considerably faster than a typical plane.
Sightings are possible:
Tonight at 8.48pm for four minutes appearing west-southwest
Friday, April 3, 9.37pm for three minutes appearing west-southwest
Saturday, April 4, 8.50pm for our minutes appearing west-southwest
