A man was taken to hospital after being rescued from a fire in Weymouth.
Weymouth firefighters were called to a shop on Abbotsbury road after an alarm was set off at about 12.30am this morning.
Upon arrival they confirmed there was a fire in the building and one person was still inside so they called for back up from on-call firefighters from Weymouth and Portland.
Crews used breathing apparatus to rescue one male casualty from the property, who received first aid from the fire service before being transferred to hospital by the ambulance service.
