Letter: Answer to 'serious problem' of dogs on the beach
Sorry to hear about Rex Orr being disheartened about dogs running loose on Lyme Regis’ only sandy beach and I’m sure that many of the dog owners pick rubbish on our beach.
It’s a shame that they don’t pick up the dogs’ mess as well and fail to control the dogs running loose on the beach, a serious injury to some child or a lady owner last week pretending to pick up.
The only answer to this serious problem is for the council to let the dogs run loose on Monmouth beach all year round. Problem solved - dog owners happy and children play safely without coming to any harm.
