In response to the transport desert of Bridport and surrounding areas, may I suggest the council and bus companies look to Llew Jones bus service run here in very rural North Wales.
Two services run, every hour until 11pm either side of the valley, from Blaneau Ffestiniog to Llandudno, a return trip of 60 miles, a day rider ticket costs £5.50.
The buses are jam packed, with kids, elderly, shoppers, socialises, pub goers, etc. It’s busy because the service is excellent and the price affordable.
Bite the bullet Bridport, your buses could be packed again. Talk to the companies operating in the Conwy Valley.
