EMERGENCY services rushed through "rain and high wind" to find a missing person.
The coastguard and police were called to Portland this morning to help with the search for a missing person.
The person was found in the Southwell area at 11.30am.
A Wyke Coastguard CRT spokesman said: "A request for the full team to assist colleagues at Portland Bill Coastguard Rescue Team and Dorset Police with a missing persons search was made by the NMOC. (National Maritime Operations Centre) The team proceeded in driving rain and high wind to Portland.
"Thankfully the casualty was located by Police before and team members deployed."
