PEOPLE are being encouraged to help raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support by walking 26-miles along the Dorset coast.
The charity will once again be hosting its Jurassic Coast Mighty Hike, one-day hiking marathon from Lodmoor Country Park to Weymouth Sealife Centre, when participants can take in the views of the Dorset coast, including Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove.
There is a £25 registration fee and Mighty Hike participants will receive a Macmillan walking top, a Zumba warm-up, regular fuelling stops with snacks and drinks, a buffet lunch, a clearly marked route, medical assistance, hot food at the end of the hike and a medal and glass of bubbly.
The minimum sponsorship pledge for each participant is £250.
