A Bridport industrial unit which was badly damaged by fire in July last year, and later demolished on safety grounds, is to be rebuilt.
The building owners have asked Dorset Council for planning permission to replace unit 24 at the Dreadnought Trading Estate almost exactly as it was.
An application to the council says the new building it will be on the same footprint as the previous one and to the same configuration and design – a steel portal frame clad with profiled metal sheeting in a willow green colour.
UPVC white double glazed doors and windows will be fitted together with a roller shutter door.
