Two men have been arrested on suspicion of drug offences.

Officers from Dorset Police's County Lines Management Team stop checked a vehicle in the area of Abbotsbury Road, Weymouth, at 4.30pm on Thursday.

Two men were detained for a drugs search which resulted in a number of individual wraps of cocaine being located within the car along with a quantity cash. Both were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs.

Officers then carried out a number of address and vehicle searches in the Weymouth area. This resulted in a substantial amount of suspected cocaine and cash being seized.

Both men have since been charged and remanded in custody for using fraudulent identification. One has also been charged for drugs supply offences.

Police are continuing their investigation.
