FILMED in the spot where it all began, Riverdance's 25th anniversary gala performance will be streamed live to the Marine Theatre, Lyme Regis, next month.

Bringing Riverdance to the big screen for the first time, this special performance will immerse audiences in its famous music and dance.

A quarter of a century ago, a seven minute recital of Riverdance during the interval of Eurovision engaged millions of people with Irish dance. Now, composer Bill Whelan has recorded a soundtrack to this celebratory spectacular.

Producer Moya Doherty, alongside director John McColgan, has reimagined the family favourite with innovative lighting, project, stage and costume design.

Riverdance is celebrated across the world for its Grammy Award-winning music and for the thrilling energy that emanates from the Irish and international dance routines.

The anniversary performance will be screened at 7pm on Sunday, March 8. Tickets are £12 in advance, available from the theatre website or box office, or £14.50 on the door. Tickets for under-18s are £6.
