ENJOY an evening of eclectic music and high octane sounds when the Julie Dunn Electric Storm Band come to town.

They will play Beaminster Public Hall on Saturday, March 28.

Music to be played will include blues, soul, rock 'n’ roll, Beatles songs, reggae and sixties songs.

Julie is a well known and much loved performer, and an accomplished recording artist, singer, pianist and composer. On this special night in Beaminster, Julie will perform an eclectic range of music in the first half, and high octane music in the second half – there should be some hot dancing!

Julie’s Electric Storm Band features the talented guitarist Andy Christie and the choice of music at the Beaminster gig will allow him to show his amazing skills to the full. Andy has played at many festivals including Glastonbury, Beautiful Days, Isle of Wight Festival, London Jazz Festival, Malta Jazz and Rock Festival, Birmingham Jazz Festival, and Cork Jazz Festival.

He has played with Ruby Turner, Jim Mullen, Dick Heckstall-Smith, Verissma (Rock opera crossover), Curved Air and the French opera singer Emma Shapplin among many others.

One of Andy’s favourite drummers will be at playing, and Jim Cook will be on bass guitar.

A special guest vocalist will be joining the band for a number of songs. Jim ‘Lucky’ Luck has amazingly been singing in blues bands with Jim Cook for more than 50 years! ‘Lucky’ is a fabulous blues singer with a great voice.
