POLICE are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward following a burglary at a farm in West Dorset.

At around 12.35am on Tuesday, February11, a burglary occurred at the farm in the area of Toller Whelme near Beaminster.

The offenders gained access to a barn and stole a Yamaha quad bike, three chainsaws, a strimmer, hedge trimmer, cordless jigsaw, cordless drill, leaf blower and other items.

Police Constable Mike Rumsby, of Bridport police, said: “We are continuing to carry out enquiries into this burglary and I would urge anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area on the night of the incident to please contact us.

“I would also like to hear from anyone who has come across items matching those detailed above being offered for sale in suspicious circumstances.”
