Speed cameras across the county are being upgraded.
A new digital speed camera has recently been installed on the A35 in Chideock, with the other at the opposite end of the village also set to be replaced.
A spokesman for Dorset Police said: “Dorset Police and the Dorset Road Safe Partnership are in the process of upgrading all of their speed cameras to a digital platform.
“The camera in Chideock is not an average speed camera and will continue to operate as before in measuring the speed of a vehicle as it passes the camera.
“The camera at the other end of the village will also be replaced in the same way, again with the same method of operation.”
