MOTORISTS faced delays of more than half an hour near Abergele this morning.
Traffic was forced into one lane of the A55 heading East on Thursday, February 6 following a two vehicle crash at St George.
The road was closed from about 8.30am following the incident, which occurred between junction 24 and 24A, before being reopened at about 10am.
A spokesperson for North Wales Police said: "We were called at 8.28am reporting a two vehicle road traffic collision on the A55 eastbound at St George.
"The road was blocked, causing disruption and an ambulance was requested."
The Welsh Ambulance Service has been approached for comment.
