DORSET could see its first sleet or snow of winter tomorrow.
The Met Office is predicting a 60 per cent chance of snow in some areas of Dorset.
According to the Met Office, Shaftesbury residents will have a 60 per cent chance of waking up to light snow tomorrow morning.
This is forecast between 6am and 8am, whilst there is a reported 40 per cent chance of a light snow shower between 8am and 9am in the area. Temperatures are predicted to drop to 2C and it could feel like -5C.
In Bridport, there is a 40 per cent chance of a sleet shower at 6am. Temperatures could drop as low as 3C, which will feel like -1C at times, according to the forecaster.
In Swanage, the Met Office says there will be "light snow showers changing to cloudy by late morning."
It says there is a 40 per cent chance of a light snow shower.
While in Blandford, there's a 40 per cent chance of sleet at 8am and 9am.
Twitter-based forecaster Dorset Snow said on Sunday: “Tuesday 3am-9am we could see our first sleet/snow of winter. Likely to be rain/sleet on the coast, but areas inland could see some snow and possibly a light dusting on high ground.
“These will be Isolated showers, following a weather system that clears on Monday night.”
Temperatures are set to rise to 12C by Sunday.
